Gadero, a Dutch online retailer that specializes in wood and wooden furniture, is expanding its operations across France. The Dutch retailer can now deliver wooden products across cities including Wallonia, Luxembourg and some northern parts of the country. Gadero also entered the German market in summer 2018. However, the company doesn’t serve the whole of Germany and France since its products are too, and Gadero takes care of the logistics itself.

Entering a new international market is exciting as it allows companies to extend their reach and broaden its audience overseas. However, Gadero confirmed that 70 percent of its orders are shipped through its warehouse in Groningen in the Netherlands. And, the rest is done via dropshipping. Therefore, if the company considers entering new markets in the future, then they will need to build a new warehouse that is located close to its consumers.
